You could say that Mauri is a man of contrasts. He was born in sunny Montevideo but raised in snowy Sweden. He is a fully fledged drummer who has played with lots of different bands and he is also a skilled photographer. With this multitude of talents he ended up in Copenhagen during the dogma years to develop his storytelling. His work is defined on the one hand by beautiful visuals and on the other, poetic realism. His first documentary feature “Mad Dog – from chaos to comeback” was released with great reviews.
