Bio

Maureen has worked for many years in the advertising industry, first as agency Art Director, and later as a Creative Director and Head of Art.

She worked for some of the most creative agencies in Buenos Aires such as Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam, among others. She has received several awards in the most important National and International Festivals, including 3 Cannes Lions Awards, 8 Clio awards and a TV Grand Prix in Diente Awards.

In addition to her agency role, Maureen worked as an experimental photographer. She was chosen out of 27000 participants as International Champion of the Absolut Lomo Competition, and was invited to take part in the “Lomographic World Congress 2007” held in London. Some of her lomographies can be seen in her work for Nike, the “Hoody On Moments” campaign, which edited a book with her photographs as part of it in 2010.

She began directing advertising commercials in 2008.

Her previous experience helps in creating a good team with the creatives and collaborate improving the scripts, some of them with great storytelling and sense of humour. Her passion for photography and aesthetics reflects on her distinct visual style.

Because of this, she has become one of the most renowned women directors in Argentina, who works with the finest advertising agencies.

In 2016, she was chosen as Craft Tv Jury President in the Diente Awards.

She has won a Silver Lion with her spot “Señora/Ma’am” in 2018, Grand Prix in the Wave Festival and Lápiz de Platino as well, among other awards.

She likes attending to as many film festivals as possible.
