Bio

After graduating from St Martins College of Art and Design in London, Rodrigo went on to work as an Art Director and Copywriter for agencies such as Mother, WCRS, Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam and as Creative Director at Santo Buenos Aires. He has won awards from D&AD, the One Show and Cannes Lions, just to name a few. His work, for Scrabble, took the internet by storm (Time magazine called it “the perfect love story for word nerds”), and won him his first Cannes Lion as a director.

Rodrigo has a strong visual style, with a lightness of touch and art direction that brings great craft in his films. Storytelling remains key, and his attention to detail, composition, and surroundings show through. His spots become something more than just ads, they become entertainment

In early 2018, Rodrigo premiered his short film for the Francis Coppola Winery at the Sundance Film Festival, and was subsequently admitted into the Directors Guild of America.
